Fenland Poetry and Verse - and More

It's exceptionally important to have someone you can have fun with and who's there when you are troubled.

Molly The Dolly

by Neil Ford

I love my dolly Molly
I like her darker skin
I've had her for a long time
That’s why her hair is thin

She's with me when I'm happy
She's with me when I'm not
She listens to my stories
We play and laugh a lot

Molly and me are chums
She's someone I can talk to
When someone has got cross with me
For not doing what I ought to

She might be really tatty
And she might not be to posh
If I couldn't cuddle Molly
I would be at such a loss

My special time with Molly
Is going off to bed
I snuggle with her very close
Her face near to my head

- Night night
